This is my hand carved Bull Buffalo Sculpture, inspired by the majestic creatures that roam freely in South Dakota’s Custer State Park. This unique sculpture is a true work of art, carved from a single rough-sawn solid live edge walnut slab.

Measuring 36″ W x 12″ H x 1 1/2″ T, this sculpture captures the essence of the Bull Buffalo with its intricate details and lifelike features. The artist used a Dremel 3000 rotary tool to meticulously carve and shape every curve and contour, resulting in a stunning representation of this mighty creature.

To bring this sculpture to life, I used oil paint to carefully paint each detail, ensuring that every aspect of the Bull Buffalo’s appearance is accurately portrayed. The rich tones and textures of the walnut slab combined with the vibrant colors of the oil paint create a visually striking piece that will captivate anyone who lays eyes on it.
